I create fine borders and graphics for printed programs, quotes and invitations. You can chose from a selection of my clip-art designs to illuminate your project for a flat fee per occasion or you can have me create custom art and format it with your text for an hourly fee. Some of my clip-art designs are seen in the postings below, however, to view the full selection, kindly contact me.

I also do custom illumination for quotations and certificates using colored pencils or paint with gilding for an hourly fee.

These 18 CD covers, using colored pencils and Dutch gold, were made as a gift for my very, very dear friend Anna to celebrate her graduation from law school and our time together in New York. We have known each other for years. She has a real zest for life and loves bright colors. The intertwined "A B" cover has the initials of her and the love of her life, Bogdan. Thank you Anna for the wonderful trip! Some of the covers are also posted individualy below.

These are samples that I made for the "Global Arts" class I'm teaching for seniors. It is mostly tracing and coloring with a tad of gilding so it isn't as complicated as it may look.

Art and Boxing

Recently I started taking a boxing class at the gym. It is a great workout with a lot of comradery and we never hit each other. I'm mentioning it here because the other day a gentleman who had been practicing since age 6 came into class. I had a few moments to watch him at the punching bag and much to my surprise I saw - grace and beauty! Formerly not what I associated with the sport. In those moments, the temple of his soul (body) was all precision, fluidity, focus and speed - and he wasn't hurting anyone :). If I can see grace and beauty in boxing, hopefully some art skeptics will have the chance to see the power and practicality of decorative creativity. As for me, maybe the class will build the reaction time needed for catching a falling jar of paint one day.
